These figures are reflections of the inner and outer world in which they exist. I am drawn to people, their lives, their experiences, and who they are or were. I think figurative work keeps me connected to life. People and the bodies they occupy are translucent membranes whose outer selves betrays the subjects’ thoughts, emotions, and dreams.
